I print the tracing worksheets in color and laminate to use in December as a Kindergarten writing center so kids can practice tracing numbers and letters. The last week of school before winter break, the kids trace the letters and numbers using their best handwriting, and then we package their number and letter tracing worksheets in construction paper to send home as a gift. The kids feel proud of their handwriting accomplishments and are excited to leave school with a Christmas present for their parents and grandparents.
